In Singapore, a Chinese cab driver racially abused a woman rider of Eurasian descent, calling her a “stupid Indian” during an altercation. The incident occurred when the driver accused the woman of giving him the wrong address and directions, resulting in roadblocks due to construction.
The driver also claimed the woman’s nine-year-old daughter, who was traveling with her, was too short to take the ride. The woman corrected him, saying she was Singaporean Eurasian, not Indian. The incident has sparked outrage, and the cab company, Tada Singapore, is investigating the matter.
