China Issues Yellow Alert for Cold Waves and Strong Winds
China’s meteorological authorities have renewed a yellow alert for cold waves, anticipating temperature drops and strong winds in various regions. From 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Saturday, temperature decreases of 6 to 10 degrees Celsius are expected in areas including Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, and northeast China.
Parts of Heilongjiang and Liaoning may experience declines of over 18 degrees Celsius. Additionally, strong winds and gales are forecasted in multiple regions, with some areas in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang expecting minimum temperatures lower than minus 30 degrees Celsius. The public is advised to take precautions, stay warm, and measures to protect livestock and crops are recommended.
