Chennai Police Nab Assault Suspects in Viral Video Case

Chennai police have arrested three individuals, including the main accused Jetson Bhagat Singh, for assaulting a juice shop owner, Ganesh, at the Kora food court in Anna Nagar. The arrest follows the circulation of a viral video depicting the attack by a gang on the food stall worker. Joint Commissioner of Police (West) M. Manohar announced the apprehension of Jetson, D. Thenralkumar alias Bhujji, and S. Sasikumar, while four additional suspects—Kalidas, Nitish Kumar, Akash, and Kailash—are still being sought.

The incident unfolded when an inebriated Jetson engaged in an argument with Devaraj, an employee at Ganesh’s juice shop. Subsequently, Jetson, accompanied by six friends, returned to the food court and launched a severe assault on Ganesh. The Thirumangalam Police took swift action after Ganesh filed a complaint on Monday, identifying the suspects through CCTV footage from the food court.
