Chennai Metro Rail’s 27-Storey Central Tower Project Nears Execution

Chennai Metro Rail’s ambitious 27-storey Central Tower is set to transform the Poonamallee High Road, with Renaatus Projects emerging as the lowest bidder for its construction. The tower, standing 119 meters tall, will feature a blend of office spaces, retail outlets, multiplexes, and a rooftop hotel, marking a significant milestone in the development of the Chennai Central area. With an estimated cost of ₹562 crore, the project is now in its final stages, awaiting environmental clearance.

Designed to mirror iconic public spaces like Times Square and Trafalgar Square, the Central Square area will integrate workspaces, shopping, entertainment, and transportation links, fostering urban revitalization. The tower’s comprehensive infrastructure includes a vast parking facility capable of accommodating over 2,200 vehicles.
