Chandrababu Naidu’s Return Revives Kuppam’s ‘VVIP’ Status

After five years, Kuppam, at the tri-State junction in Andhra Pradesh, is reclaiming its ‘VVIP’ status as Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu returns to his home constituency. An eight-time MLA, Naidu will visit Kuppam on June 25 and 26 for a two-day thanksgiving tour. Despite being out of power and facing opposition from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), Naidu has remained active, particularly in addressing issues like granite wealth exploitation.

The region, marked by political clashes and intense rivalries, saw Naidu’s influence diminish under YSRCP’s aggressive campaigns. However, Naidu’s recent political resurgence and commitment to addressing key local issues like unemployment and infrastructure projects signal a renewed focus on tangible development for Kuppam.
