On June 12, N. Chandrababu Naidu took the oath of office as Chief Minister of residual Andhra Pradesh, marking his fourth tenure as CM. Governor S. Abdul Nazeer administered the oath at a ceremony attended by prominent figures, including PM Narendra Modi.
Alongside Naidu, 24 MLAs from the TDP, BJP, and JSP were sworn in as Cabinet ministers, reflecting the coalition’s victory over the YSR Congress Party in the 2024 Assembly elections. Notably, JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan played a pivotal role in forging the alliance and is anticipated to be appointed Deputy Chief Minister. This diverse cabinet aims to bring balanced representation and drive effective governance in the state.
