Chandauli Police Empower Girls with Beautician Course for Economic Independence

The Chandauli police in Uttar Pradesh have taken a proactive step towards empowering around 100 girls from economically weaker families residing in remote villages. Under the initiative spearheaded by Chandauli Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar, a two-month beautician course has been sponsored for these young women, teaching them skills such as bridal makeup, hair styling, skincare, sewing, and embroidery.

The training takes place daily from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in a specially designated room at the Naugarh police station. Aimed at making the girls self-reliant, the program addresses the economic challenges faced by many who couldn’t pursue higher education due to financial constraints.

Superintendent Anil Kumar emphasized that the primary goal is to empower these girls with practical skills, enabling them to earn a living and achieve financial independence. The first batch of trainees is expected to complete their course by February 6, receiving certificates upon graduation.
