Building Collapse in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna District Leaves One Dead, Five Injured

A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district as a two-storied building collapsed in the Bihari Chowk area, an old marketplace in Satna. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, resulting in one fatality and injuring five individuals. The building, located in a commercial market area, was reportedly in a deteriorated state and undergoing renovation without prior approval from local authorities.

While two people were successfully rescued within an hour, another was extricated around 3 a.m. but couldn’t survive. Two additional individuals were rescued later, and all five injured parties are currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Local police and district officials were present at the scene.
