A technical glitch in a Chennai Metro Rail train at Chennai Central Station caused a brief disruption in services on Wednesday evening, leaving hundreds of passengers waiting for 15-20 minutes. The issue arose around 5:10 p.m., leading to confusion as passengers rushed to alternative platforms.

Officials from Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) reported a ten-minute delay between Chennai Central and Chennai airport stations, while services to St Thomas Mount remained unaffected. The problem was swiftly resolved, restoring normal operations shortly thereafter.
