‘Brand Mysuru Fest’ to Elevate City’s Identity in January
To enhance the brand identity of Mysuru, known for its rich heritage and tourism, the Mysuru district administration and the Department of Tourism are organizing the ‘Brand Mysuru Fest’ from January 26 to 28. Following the launch of a new logo and mascot named Gajju, the festival aims to promote the city’s unique attributes, including its cultural heritage, tourism spots, and locally branded products.
The fest will feature cultural and folk performances, a chitra santhe (art fair), a food festival, a fashion show for brand promotion, kite flying, and rock band performances. The objective is to showcase Mysuru’s distinctiveness and foster global recognition. The new logo and tagline, “Our Heritage Your Destination,” will be utilized in promotional activities related to Mysuru tourism, strategically displayed at traffic signal junctions, barricades, and traffic kiosks for maximum visibility.
