Bomb Threat at Kolkata’s Indian Museum Prompts Security Measures

Following a bomb threat received via email, the iconic Indian Museum in central Kolkata saw heightened security measures as Kolkata Police and the bomb squad took control of the premises. The threatening email warned of potential casualties, prompting immediate action from the museum authorities, who alerted the city police headquarters.

The bomb squad cordoned off the entire museum, conducting thorough searches for any explosive items. Museum employees and visitors were evacuated before the inspection began.
