Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, underscored the unity within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), attributing its cohesion to a shared commitment to national interests rather than individual aspirations for power. Fadnavis highlighted the BJP’s distinctiveness as the sole national party in Indian history to have remained intact without experiencing internal divisions. Emphasizing the party’s ideological foundation, he credited past and present leaders, including Narendra Modi, for fostering a selfless ethos focused on nation-building.

Critiquing opposition alliances like the Maha Vikas Aghadi and INDIA bloc, Fadnavis likened their disunity to a train lacking consensus among its constituents.
