BJP Worker Arrested for Pro-Pakistan Slogan in Mandya Protest

In a surprising turn of events, a BJP worker named Ravi from Mandya was arrested for allegedly shouting “Pakistan Zindabad” during a protest organized by the BJP in December 2022.

The arrest came after a complaint was filed by a Congress worker, Kannambadi Kumar, accusing BJP workers of chanting pro-Pakistan slogans. Despite the majority of BJP supporters shouting “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Hindustan Zindabad”, Ravi’s alleged pro-Pakistan slogan led to his arrest by the Mandya West Police. This incident has stirred controversy and highlighted tensions between political factions in the region.
