BJP MLA and Lok Sabha MP’s Public Disagreement Stemmed from Minor Misunderstanding

Following a recent video capturing a public altercation between BJP MLA Rivaba Jadeja and Jamnagar Lok Sabha MP Poonamben Madam, the MP clarified on Friday that the disagreement was a result of a minor misunderstanding which has now been resolved.

Madam refrained from immediate comments, initially adhering to party discipline, but later expressed that she considers Jadeja as a younger sister. She explained that the incident arose during an event and was due to a brief misunderstanding. Madam shared her perspective after party authorization, highlighting that the incident was a small matter within the larger BJP family.

She reassured the unity of the party and likened the situation to common misunderstandings in families. The incident involved first-time MLA Jadeja, also the wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, who clarified that the disagreement was about differing views on paying tribute to martyrs. In a video clip, she was seen rebuking Madam and Mayor Kothari during a public function.
