The Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha, led by president Richa Pandey Mishra, staged a protest outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, demanding his resignation following the alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal by his aide Bibhav Kumar. Carrying bangles as a symbol of their demand, the protesters urged Kejriwal to take responsibility for the incident that transpired at his official residence.
The Delhi Police registered an FIR against Kumar, Kejriwal’s personal assistant, after Maliwal’s statement was recorded by a police team. Additionally, Kumar has been summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) over the matter, further intensifying the scrutiny on the incident.
