BJP State president K. Annamalai and TMC (Moopanar) president G.K. Vasan criticized the DMK government for its failure to curb the drug menace in Tamil Nadu. Annamalai accused the DMK of facilitating easier access to drugs by appointing peddlers to plum posts, undermining law enforcement.
He highlighted recent violent incidents, including attacks under the influence of ganja, questioning Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s response. Similarly, Vasan condemned the government’s negligence, linking it to recent incidents of murder and assault in the state.
