BJP Accuses YSRCP Government of Financial Mismanagement in Andhra Pradesh
The BJP in Andhra Pradesh launches scathing criticism against the YSRCP government, alleging mismanagement of finances leading to a debt burden of ₹13.50 lakh crore. State spokesperson Lanka Dinakar asserts that this debt translates to an individual burden of ₹2 lakh, exacerbating the economic woes of each citizen. Dinakar highlights soaring prices of essential commodities, including petroleum products, and high power tariffs as factors crippling people’s purchasing power.
Furthermore, rampant corruption and a lack of development initiatives further compound the challenges faced by residents, particularly middle-class families struggling to make ends meet amidst rising inflation. Andhra Pradesh’s lagging Per Capita Income compared to neighboring states underscores the severity of the economic downturn under the current administration.
