BJP leader P. Naveen Kumar Reddy has accused the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) engineering wing of significant corruption through manipulated ‘reverse tendering,’ a practice promoted by the YSR Congress Party.
Reddy highlighted the ₹600 crore reconstruction of Govindaraja choultries and the inflated engineering budget, alleging political intermediaries’ involvement. He plans to appeal to the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) and calls for a CID investigation into ₹200 crore worth of hospital renovation tenders. Reddy urges Tirupati residents to protect Lord Venkateswara’s funds from political misuse.
