The upcoming 15th edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) is set to celebrate the rich linguistic diversity of India with its unique platform titled ‘Incredible India.’ This platform will spotlight films made in lesser-known languages of India, including Tulu, Kodava, Banjara, Arebashe, Markodi, Galo, Rabha, Santhali, and Tai Phake. Recognizing that a film festival is a reflection of culture and society, the festival aims to showcase the cultural vibrancy and varied perspectives present in Indian cinema.
Alongside international films, the festival will also pay tribute to the contributions of eminent filmmakers and artists, fostering dialogue, appreciation, and exchange within the global cinematic community. Through curated sections, retrospectives, and educational initiatives, BIFFes continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting artistic expression and cultural dialogue.
