The KempeGowda International Airport’s Terminal-2 in Bengaluru, built at a cost of Rs 13,000 crore, has commenced operations for international flights as of Tuesday. All scheduled international flights are now arriving and departing from Terminal 2, with airport authorities providing passengers with information on estimated queue wait times and flight details.
Terminal-2, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11, 2022, is one of the world’s largest terminals and boasts Asia’s first hanging garden. The terminal will accommodate an additional 2.5 crore air passengers, solidifying Bengaluru Airport’s position as one of India’s largest airports.
