Assam woman assaulted her partner arrested in Bengaluru

In Bengaluru, a woman from Assam was arrested for stabbing her partner multiple times after he began to distance himself from her, as per police reports on Monday. The victim, Jogesh, and the accused Junti Das are both 37 years old and from Assam.

Jogesh is currently hospitalized and in critical condition. He worked as a security guard and resided in a rented house in the Ejipura locality. Junti, a divorcee and single mother, was employed as a domestic help at a daycare center in Jigani on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

The couple had known each other for about two years and entered a relationship, but recently, Jogesh started to distance himself from Junti, which upset her, according to the police.
