Arrests Made in New Washermenpet for Petrol Bomb Attack

Two individuals, including a history sheeter, have been apprehended by the police in New Washermenpet for allegedly throwing a lit petrol-filled bottle into a house. The incident occurred after the house owner scolded them for engaging in a drunken brawl near his property. V. Sivakumar, the complainant, reported that Manoj Kumar and two others, angered by the scolding, retaliated by throwing a bottle filled with petrol and setting it on fire near his residence.

Following the complaint, the New Washermenpet police arrested Manoj Kumar and Praveen Raj. Notably, Manoj Kumar has a history of 11 criminal cases against him, as revealed during the investigation.
