Arrests Made in Karnataka Lab Technician Murder Case

Karnataka police announced the arrest of two individuals, Sameer Sohail and Mohammad Kaif, in connection with the murder of a female lab technician in Hatti town. The middle-aged victim, Manjula, was murdered on October 26, with her burnt body discovered near her residence.

The accused, taking advantage of her physical ailments, lured her to an isolated location under the pretext of a pooja, subsequently robbing Rs 10 lakh cash and gold jewels before killing her. The police recovered stolen cash, gold, and the vehicles used in the crime. Initially considered a case of black magic or suicide, suspicions arose due to missing loan funds and withdrawn money.
