Tiruttani Police have apprehended three individuals for their alleged involvement in assaulting Andhra Pradesh Minister Roja’s assistant, Pratheesh, due to previous enmity. Pratheesh, who serves as the personal assistant to Minister Roja, was attacked by three youths wielding iron rods and pipes while he was on a morning stroll near his residence on Tiruttani Bypass Road.
Following the incident, he was rushed to Government Hospital, Tiruttani, and later referred to a city hospital for further treatment. The police initiated an investigation based on Pratheesh’s complaint, leading to the arrest of the suspects identified as Naveen (31), Chiranjeevi (24), and Parasuram (39) from Nagari, Chittoor district.
Further interrogation revealed a political rivalry between Pratheesh and the suspects, stemming from his role in securing Ms. Roja’s victory in the Nagari constituency during the previous elections.
