Arrests and Corruption Unveiled in Pune Porsche Crash Case
Pune police have intensified their investigation into the May 19 Porsche crash that killed two IT professionals, leading to the arrest of two more individuals, Ashphak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad, for acting as middlemen. These middlemen allegedly facilitated financial transactions between the accused doctors at Sassoon General Hospital and the father of the 17-year-old driver, who is charged with driving under the influence.
The parents, Shivani and Vishal Agarwal, are accused of evidence tampering, specifically manipulating the teen’s blood sample. Arrests include Dr. Shrihari Halnor and Dr. Ajay Taware, with significant sums of money recovered, exposing a network of corruption aimed at obstructing justice.
