An accused involved in the communal violence that occurred in Haryana’s Nuh district on July 31, resulting in six deaths, has been arrested by the Crime Branch following an encounter. The arrest took place after a tip-off, leading to an encounter in the Aravalli mountain range’s ravines.
The suspect, identified as Aamir from Dhidara village in Nuh, sustained a leg injury during the gunfight and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. An illegal country-made pistol and five tramps were recovered from the accused.
Authorities have registered 61 FIRs and arrested 280 people in connection with the Nuh violence case, with 12 FIRs targeting individuals spreading rumors on social media. The Nuh Superintendent of Police urged the public to disregard rumors, emphasizing strict action against those who spread them.
