Army Jawan Assaulted in Kerala, Allegedly by PFI Members

A group of six individuals believed to be members of the now-banned Popular Front of India (PFI) is being sought by multiple Kerala Police squads after they allegedly abducted and assaulted an Army jawan. The victim, Shine Kumar, was forcibly taken from his house during his annual leave and assaulted in a nearby forest area.

The assailants reportedly tied his hands with tape, beat him, and left “PFI” written on his back with green paint. The incident occurred shortly before the Enforcement Directorate initiated raids at various locations linked to former PFI members across Kerala.
