AP police arrested 4 accused in the teacher murder case in Vizianagram district

The Andhra Pradesh Police announced on Monday that they have successfully solved the high-profile murder case of a teacher in Vizianagaram district. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the crime, while a search operation is ongoing to apprehend a fifth suspect.

According to the police, the investigation revealed that the 58-year-old teacher, Yegirerddy Krishna Murthy, was brutally hacked to death as a result of political rivalry. The assailants allegedly first struck the victim with a van, before proceeding to fatally beat him with an iron rod.

The arrest of the suspects marks a significant breakthrough in the case, bringing a sense of justice to the victim’s family and the community. The police are actively pursuing all leads to apprehend the remaining accused person and ensure that all those involved in the heinous crime are brought to justice.
