Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has directed the Zoo Park Authority of Andhra Pradesh to explore establishing new zoos beyond the existing ones in Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.
At the 14th governing body meeting, he emphasized upgrading facilities to global standards and introducing exotic animals to attract more visitors. He urged officials to secure funds through public-private partnerships and corporate involvement, while also promoting animal adoption by prominent individuals to support environmental initiatives. The goal is to enhance eco-friendly tourism and improve zoo infrastructure across the state.
