Alleged Rape of 13-Year-Old Daughter in Uttar Pradesh
In a deeply disturbing incident in the Auraiyya district of Uttar Pradesh, a 45-year-old man has been arrested on charges of allegedly raping his 13-year-old daughter. The accused faces legal action under section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The horrifying incident occurred on October 30, only coming to light when the victim complained of severe stomach pain and confided in her mother. The victim’s mother described a harrowing sequence of events that unfolded as her husband returned home in an inebriated state around 12:30 a.m., ultimately assaulting their daughter sexually.
The courageous mother promptly reported the incident to the Achhalda police, leading to the immediate arrest of the accused. The child was swiftly sent for a medical examination, while police are awaiting the results to further bolster their case.
