Allegations of Infant Death Amid Power Outage at Gaza Hospital: IDF Denies Responsibility

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza claimed that a newborn baby died at Al-Shifa Hospital due to a prolonged electricity outage caused by Israeli attacks. The World Health Organization (WHO) noted that Al-Shifa Hospital and other medical facilities were “out of action.” The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) countered the claim, stating that a failed missile launched by Gaza terrorists hit the hospital. Last week, an Israeli strike targeted an ambulance near Al-Shifa, causing casualties. The situation remains tense, with conflicting narratives about the incidents.
