Adani Group Unveils ₹12,400 Crore Investment Plan in Telangana
The Adani Group, led by Chairman Gautam Adani, has unveiled an ambitious investment plan of ₹12,400 crore in Telangana over the next few years. Adani Green Energy is set to invest ₹5,000 crore in two pumped storage projects with a combined capacity of 1,350 MW, while AdaniConneX Data Centres will allocate in Chandanvelly.
Ambuja Cements Ltd, another Adani Group entity, will invest ₹1,400 crore in a cement grinding unit with a capacity of 6 metric tonnes per year. Additionally, Adani Aerospace and Defence plan to inject ₹1,000 crore into a counter-drone systems and missile development and manufacturing center at Adani Aerospace and Defence Park.
The investment decisions were formalized through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) exchanged between Gautam Adani and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Chief Minister expressed the state government’s support, emphasizing Telangana’s investor-friendly environment and planned policies to attract further investments. Gautam Adani acknowledged the government’s support and affirmed the Adani Group’s commitment to robust growth in Telangana.
