Abdul Nasir Maudany: A Journey of Recovery
After enduring more than a month of critical care, Abdul Nasir Maudany, the founder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), was discharged from a Kochi hospital on April 6 following significant improvement in his health. Maudany’s health crisis began on February 20, leading to his admission to the Medical Trust Hospital, where he was subsequently placed on ventilator support due to acute breathlessness.
Following a series of cardiac examinations and daily dialysis sessions, Maudany’s condition gradually improved, leading to the removal of the ventilator on April 2. Despite being discharged with strict visitor restrictions, he will continue to receive medical care at home, including daily peritoneal dialysis. Maudany’s journey underscores the resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity, as he now embarks on the path to recovery with the support of his family and medical team.
