Governor S. Abdul Nazeer emphasized the Andhra Pradesh government’s dedication to fulfilling promises made in the YSR Congress Party election manifesto during the Republic Day celebrations. He stated that 99.5% of the manifesto promises had been implemented, showcasing the government’s commitment to welfare schemes and social empowerment.
The Governor highlighted the unveiling of the 206-foot-tall statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as a symbol of the government’s allegiance to the Constitution and its values of secularism, socialism, democracy, and republicanism. He commended the government’s efforts in decentralization, creating new districts, revenue divisions, and police divisions for comprehensive and equitable development across the state. The commitment to completing the Polavaram Project and prioritizing rehabilitation efforts was also emphasized in the speech.
