As many as 5,560 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu, taking the total tally to 525,420, the state health department said on Thursday.
The overall recoveries in the state has touched 470,192.
At least 59 more deaths have been recorded in TN, pushing the total death toll to 8,618.
