The importance of original thinking

Most of the people are happy and satisfied in imitating others. They do not hesitates in copying the ways other speak, behave or even think. They never think that are unique human beings, having different identities, goals and ambitions in life. No wonder , such people fail to rise to the top. Only those who think differently achieves lasting success. It is important to think new ideas Ans do things differently . New thoughts take civilization forward . Great discoveries and inventions have not been possible without the people who think differently. It’s because people think that civilization happens. And they need to think beyond boundaries, freely in order to reach at different destination. Watt and Newton observe things seen by many people, but they noted something special about those things. Falling apples and boiling kettles were observed by many people before Newton and Watt, but only Newton could arrive at the theory of gravitation and Watt could invent steam engine by noting something special about these things. It is also true that original thinkers have to face many difficulties and overcome many hurdles. In the past, the priests would discourage people from having different thoughts by saying that if they thought this or that the gods would punish them. Socrates had to drink the cup of poison for thinking differently. Christ was crucified for having a different path in life. But only such great men help civilization go forward. Whatever scientific and technological progress we notice around is due to the thoughts of scientists and thinkers of the world. If we become all imitators, who will create new things? The sun has its own light, the moon merely reflects it. It is often said, “I will embrace on lt the sun” he, , makes us understand the importance of originality, freshness and creativity.
