Stop asking mothers if they are a home maker or a working mom

We all agree the fact that EVERYBODY SHOULD BE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. But, when it comes to having an opinion , it is equally important to respect people’s choices. These days society have put immense pressure specially on women to be financially independent as they are concerned about the failure of men or the changed attitude over time which can lead them to go back to their parents home or lead to uncertain circumstances in future. However, in contrast to this there can be women who just wants to lead a simple life like a housewife supporting , caring and nourishing her family.
Its not necessary that all girls sit back home after marriage, there are women who keeps om struggling to get a job while several moms take a back seat after becoming a mother as they cant manage the load. Some moms have developed an understanding with their partners to divide the chores and responsibilities so that the balance is maintained.
This article wants to clear one thing out that is:
WHAT WORKS FOR ONE MAY NOT WORK FOR ANOTHER. SO WHY JUDGE?
If you can look at a man with respect, why not a mom? Would you ask a father if they were a stay at home father or a working dad? No right? Then what makes you think its ok to ask a mom that question?
If you have a query about their finance you may directly ask them but if that query is making you feel awkward and on the substitute you ask this question then you must know you are crossing your line.
So, to all the beautiful home makers out there- you don’t need to be ashamed of what you are doing, you don’t need to offer any explanations to anyone about your future. We all have different roles and paths in this thing called life and we all need to embrace it and feel proud of it.
