Failure is the key to success

It is rightly said that failure is the key to success. It means that failures teach us to think over our weaknesses, and by removing them achieve success. If we do not fail, we can not comprehend the value and importance of success. It is possible that after one failure one may achieve higher and greater success than he has ever imagined. It is also true tat there is hardly any person in the world who has never faced failure in life. Where there is success, there is failure. It is, of course, true that failures often discourage, depress and demoralize us. They shake a person’s self confidence in his or her ability. Sometimes they hurt a person’s self respect. Many students commit suicide when they fail to achieve desired or expected result from their hard work. Some stop studying, or go in for a petty job or do business of some kind. Then, there is the fear of failure, which is worse than the failure itself. It robs us pf our happiness. A person who is in the grip of failure is low spirited and negative. Ironically, it is his fear of failure which keeps him or her from tasting success. We should have a positive mindset. We should free ourselves from the fear of failure. We should keep in mind Gita’s message,” Do thy work unmindful of the fruit”. We should continue making efforts and out in a lot of hard work. If we fail even then, we should not feel discouraged. We should continue making efforts and put in a lot of hard work. If we fail, even then, we should not be discouraged. We should face failure boldly. We should realize our mistakes, and know our flaws. By removing them we can again achieve success. The real strength of man is tested in the wake of failure.
