Gal Gadot to star in a Holocaust drama
“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot is set to star in “Irena Sendler”, which is based on the Polish heroine who saved thousands of Jewish children during the Holocaust.
Gadot is also producing the film with her newly formed Pilot Wave with producing partner and husband Jaron Varsano. The Warner Bros. project is also being produced by Marc Platt, reports variety.com.
Justine Juel Gillmer, whose credits include “Harry Haft”, will be writing the screenplay, based on Sendler”s work in the Polish underground in the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.
