Boring or Masterpiece? Netizens divided over ”The Irishman”

Legendary Hollywood director Martin Scorsese”s much-anticipated “The Irishman” released on streaming giant Netflix on November 27.

The 209-minute long, star-studded gangster drama features Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Ray Romano in one frame. Based on Charles Brandt”s non-fiction “I Heard You Paint Houses”, “The Irishman” is a saga of organised crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran (De Niro), a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century.

After its recent release on Netflix, Tweeple reactions to “The Irishman” have been strong, and divided.
