Chennai, 8 January 2020: Express Avenue Mall, Chennai’s award winning fashion and entertainment mall, as part of Pongal celebrations is organizing a performance of all female Sri Lankan drum ensemble –Thuuryaa at the Central Atrium from 6.30 PM onwards on 12th January 2020
Thuuryaa is first ever Sri Lanakan women s’ drums ensemble
Carrying forward Sri Lanka’s legacy in percussion music and art, Thuryaa strongly believes in the theme of following the ‘rhythm of humanity’ and uniting through the soul of music. Shaped with the essence of Kandiyan, Low Country and Sabaragamu, Thuryaa takes forward Sri Lanka’s tri tradition mixed with offshore festive music.
