SRI CHAITANYA SCHOOL EMERGES THE WORLD CHAMPION FOR THE 8TH CONSECUTIVE TIME IN NASA SPACE SETTLEMENT CONTEST

In the 8thConsecutive Year also, Sri Chaitanya School emerged the World Champion in the Space Settlement Contest-2021 conducted jointly by NASA and NSS. Participants from more than 100 countries participated in the Contest and the Students of Sri Chaitanya stood with 64 Prize Winning Projects which is more than 50% of the107 Prize Winning Projects of India out of the Total 160 Winning Projects declared all over the World, contributing the Lion’s Share to make the country the No.1 in the World, the Chairman Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, Dr. B.S. Rao said.

The total number of Prize-Winning Projects in the World                             : 160

The Number of Prize-Winning Project from all over India                            : 107/160 (67%)

Percentage of Winning Projects from Sri Chaitanya in the India Total       : 64/107 (60%)

Percentage of Winning projects from Sri Chaitanya in the World Total      : 64/160 (40%)

The Chairman Dr. Rao said that a total of 758 students participated in preparing the 64 Prize Winning Projects. He also said the either in the number of 1st, 2ndand 3rdPrizes or in the number of Prize Winning Projects, or in the number of students participating in the Projects, no other School in the World or in India is nowhere closer to Sri Chaitanya School.

The Academic Director of Sri Chaitanya Schools, Mrs. Seema said that the Conceptual Teaching Methodology and the Activity and Practical Based Teaching, putting aside the age old method of Rote Learning, is mainly responsible for such a tremendous victory in NASA NSS Space Settlement Contest. She congratulated the Prize Winning students, their parents and the Teaching Community which made this victory possible.
