KCG Tech ’Ethereal 2025’ Dazzles with Star-Studded Cultural Extravaganza

KCG College of Technology recently hosted Ethereal 2025, a two-day cultural extravaganza that transformed the campus into a vibrant hub of creativity, energy, and innovation. Bringing together students from across Chennai, the festival featured over 30 exciting events spanning sports, music, dance, literature, and gaming.

The festival lineup included high-energy sports competitions such as Box Cricket, Futsal, and Shuttle Striker, alongside intellectually stimulating contests like Shipwreck, Flash and Frame, and The Big IPL Bid. Gamers battled it out in FIFA, Free Fire, and BGMI, while literary enthusiasts showcased their skills in The Quiz Quorum and Verse and Vibe. The cultural stage witnessed electrifying performances in Dance Battle, Battle of the Bands, The Vogue Parade, and Cosplay Chronicles, celebrating the incredible talent of students.

The festival opened with a breathtaking concert by rapper and lyricist Asal Kolaar, setting the stage for two days of high-energy celebrations. Kannada actor Kayadu Lohar wowed the audience with a dazzling ramp walk alongside KCG fashion icons, while singer-composer Premgi Amaren and actor Vaibhav Reddy turned the venue into a pulsating hub of music and entertainment.

The grand valedictory function was graced by Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman of Hindustan Group of Institutions; Dr. Annie Jacob, Director of KCG College of Technology; Mr. Enid Verghese, Deputy Director of Hindustan Group of Institutions; Dr. M. Muthukannan, Principal and officials of KCG Tech. The evening continued with a high-octane performance by musician DJ Lash, featuring his ‘Lash’s Smash,’ and a scintillating show by renowned young musician Sarah Black. The two-day celebration came to an eventful conclusion with the prize distribution ceremony.
