GEM Hospital organizes International Bariatric Conference – LAPAROFIT#9
250 Surgeons from Asia Pacific Region to participate in this two day conference
Chennai, 18th October 2019: GEM Hospitals, pioneers in minimally invasive surgery – laparoscopic & robotic surgeries, and India’s leading Bariatric Surgical Centre is holding the 9th Edition of LAPAROFIT – a two day International Conference on Bariatric Surgery on 18th and 19th October 2019. Dr. Abhijath Seth, President, National Board of Examinations inaugurated the conference today in the presence of Dr. Ganni Bhaskara Rao, President – All India Private Medical Colleges Association & Chairman – GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry.
Delegates of Bariatric Surgery Societies from Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Philippines and Chile will participate in this Asia Pacific summit to discuss and derive a common guideline on Clinical Care Pathways.

This summit will be a remarkable attempt where all the Asia pacific societies come together to create a master book on standardizing the Clinical Care Pathways. Establishing the best standards in clinical practice would lay the foundation to reduce the chances of morbidity & mortality and also aid in the best possible long term outcomes”.
