Quantum Energy is a Hyderabad-based EV manufacturing company with growing market share in many Indian states. The company aims to sell 6000 Quantum EVs this year in Tamil Nadu. Its EV scooters, designed and manufactured with Korean technology, are powerful, efficient, and cost-effective. While Elektron and Milan, with a 1000W motor power, clocking a maximum speed of 60 km/h are ideally suited for the general public, Bziness, with a 1200W motor power, is designed as a delivery vehicle. Bziness clocks a maximum speed of 50 km/h, and is sold in different riding modes. The ex-showroom price in Tamil Nadu of Elektron & Milan is Rs. 92,888 and Jinka Bziness is Rs. 96,056 respectively.
All the EVs feature advanced Lithium-ion batteries that get fully charged in 4 hours. Depending on the model, one full charge can last anywhere from 80-120 kms. The batteries are powered by a smart BMS with multilevel safety protections to make sure they are extremely safe and the scooters have good grade ability for dual riders and riding uphill. These EVs have been rigorously tested and validated for Indian road conditions.
Quantum Energy is backed by Kusalava Group which has been in the automotive industry for the past 50 years. The company has its R&D centre at Bengaluru and manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana. Quantum is making inroads into the electric scooters market in several Indian states.
