Allahabad HC Grants Anticipatory Bail to Sushil Singhania in Suicide Case

The Allahabad High Court granted anticipatory bail to Sushil Singhania, the uncle of Nikita Singhania, in the suicide case of AI engineer Atul Subhash. Singhania, facing accusations based on a viral suicide note and video, was represented by senior counsel Manish Tiwary, who argued that Singhania, aged 69 with medical conditions, could not be held responsible for abetting the suicide.

The court noted the difference between abetment and harassment, considering the alleged accusations of financial extortion. The bail was granted with conditions, including a ₹50,000 personal bond and cooperation with police investigations. Singhania must also seek court permission before leaving India.
