Dhankhar Advocates Development Through the Lens of the Preamble

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, addressing the 7th Defence Estate Day, emphasized that development, nationalism, security, and welfare initiatives must align with the guiding principles of the Constitution’s Preamble. He called for defence estates to evolve into self-sustaining ecosystems, enhancing both military preparedness and societal welfare.

Highlighting the nation’s unstoppable rise, he urged optimal utilization of land resources through innovative and holistic approaches, integrating wellness centers and herbal gardens. Dhankhar also advocated for dispute resolution within defence estates, emphasizing transparency and accountability to prevent external intervention. Reflecting on the nation’s progress, he linked these aspirations to India’s march towards ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
