ARC 33rd National Tenpin Bowling Championships – Akaash and Sumathi emerge Champions!

Akaash Ashok Kumar of Karnataka and Sumathi Nallabantu of Andhra Pradesh emerged Champions at the ARC 33rd NationalTenpin Bowling Championships which concluded at the Amoeba Bowling Center in Bangalore.

Playing his seventh straight Final, Akaash of Karnataka scored a comfortable win over Shaik Abdul Hameed of Delhi (425- 353) in two game Title clash to win his 3rd Title.

In the Stepladder round matches, based on total pinfall of 2 games,Shaik Abdul Hameed of Delhi defeated Dhruv Sarda of Delhi(433-335) by a margin of 98 pins to move to Final.

In Match1, Dhruv Sarda of Delhi overpowered Shabbir Dhankot of Tamil Nadu (412-372).

Shabbir Dhankot, Ganesh N T and Mahipal Singh of Team Tamil Nadu finished overall 4th, 5th and 7th respectively.

In the Women’s Final, Sumathi Nallabantu of Andhra Pradesh defeated Preemal J of Karnataka (342–286). This was Sumathi’s 4th National Crown.

Earlier, Sumathi (Andhra Pradesh) moved to the Final defeating Anuradha Sarda (Delhi) (356-272)and in Match 1, Sumathi defeated Kashmira Kudale (Maharashtra)(424-309)
