Amit Shah Launches FTI-TTP

Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled a significant initiative on June 22 aimed at expediting immigration services for pre-verified Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders. Known as the Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP), this visionary programme requires eligible individuals to apply online, submit biometrics (fingerprint and facial image), and provide necessary information specified in the application form.

Approved applicants will receive notifications to schedule biometrics appointments at designated international airports or Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs). The FTI registration, valid for up to five years or passport validity, prioritizes efficiency, security, and convenience in travel, highlighting the government’s commitment to enhancing travel facilitation for all eligible applicants.
