An 11-year-old boy, R. Thujesh, was bitten by a Rottweiler near his home in Mangadu while the dog’s owner’s daughter was walking the canine. The boy, who was attacked near his house gate, was immediately hospitalized and is under observation. His father, Rajesh, has filed a complaint, leading to a police case against the dog’s owner under Section 289 of the Indian Penal Code for negligent conduct.

This incident follows other recent dog attacks in the area, raising significant concerns about pet safety and the responsibilities of pet owners. The police have also asked local municipal authorities to relocate the Rottweiler to a shelter, emphasizing the need for stricter enforcement of pet regulations to prevent future incidents.
